My reason I took up life coaching sessions with Lucy, was to gain more self-confidence and believe that I could achieve my goals & to get more motivated to accomplish these.
Lucy and I concentrated on 3 of my goals – to restart my driving lessons, to be more confident in delivering presentations at university and to put some plans in place regarding a new business venture. All of these have now been put into action.
I have realised there is no point in putting things off that scare you otherwise you will stay in the same rut forever. A simple anchor technique got me through a presentation at university. I even volunteered to go first! My tutor said it was the best presentation I had ever done.
Having a clear vision of your goal and imagining yourself reaching them in your mind gives you more focus. Lucy and I created a simple time-line of where I am now to where I want to be in the future. After the session it made me more excited for what’s to come. We also created an outcome statement set in the future having achieved my goals. I am keeping this safe so I can keep looking at it so I can eventually tick everything off that I have achieved.
Lucy is fantastic! If anybody lacks motivation Lucy is the one that can give you the kick up the bum to make you realise that you can actually reach your goals. She helps you to change your mindset and self belief to see what is possible. The techniques that Lucy shows you makes you excited and ready to take on new challenges in your life and to achieve your true potential.
I’d 100 percent recommend Lucy to family and friends. She’s happy, fun and full of motivation and it definitely rubs off on you.
When I saw Lucy’s offer on Facebook I knew that I could use some coaching to help me get motivated to start my business. I wanted to start a kids art club but felt I was lacking in confidence, ability, time and motivation.
The sessions helped me feel more in control of my time. It also allowed me to see my goals as something achievable rather than just an idea. Lucy showed me that actually writing things down and creating a real vision in my mind made my goal seem much more attainable.
I have learned to trust myself and my ideas. I have learnt that planning and writing things down helps to put things into perspective and allows me to prioritise all that needs to be done.
I would tell others that before the sessions I didn’t know where I was headed or how to get there, but now after a few sessions I can actually feel and taste my success. I have much more belief in myself now than I did before.
I was apprehensive about trying Life Coaching as I had no experience of anything like this previously, but I felt I had been stuck in the same cycle for the past couple of years and had lost motivation to make changes and decided to give it a try.
I set a goal to improve my fitness with a target to beat my previous PB for a half marathon.
I have learned that taking the time to consider what's important to me, and setting my own small targets each month, will lead to me achieving my desired goal.
Following my first session I couldn't stop talking about Life Coaching. I had never tried anything like this previously and was nervous at first. I was soon put at ease and at no point was I pushed to discuss anything I did not wish to. I was surprised how easily and quickly I was assessing what's important to me and which areas of my life I wanted to make improvements. I left the session inspired and felt motivated to make immediate changes, and also set long term goals. I have already made changes and feel the benefits of my session. I would definitely recommend Life Coaching to anyone and will certainly be having regular sessions myself.
After a major shift in my domestic circumstances in January 2018, I took a year out of my studies as a student midwife to concentrate on supporting the needs of my children whilst we, as a family unit, navigated the waters of change. When it was time for me to return to study I was admittedly anxious about how I might adapt my life to accommodate the increased pressure once again. I saw a message on social media appealing for case studies and I thought to myself “if it helps it can only be a good thing!” so I contacted Lucy to arrange an informal chat to ascertain if life coaching could work for me.
I needed support to alter my faulty thinking patterns regarding myself and my ability to cope with the proposed work load and mentally prepare myself to succeed.
The sessions I had with Lucy were fantastic. I was sceptical initially but tried to remain open-minded. They were at times very emotive but had a cleansing effect and left me feeling very positive.
The sessions taught me some things about myself which I previously hadn’t or didn’t want to see within myself. It made me face up to some of my deep seated self-limitations and doubts that I have been carrying most of my adult life and try to break free of these. I believe that by undertaken the life coach sessions I found clarity and the strength to begin to feel comfortable within my own psyche and push through the limitations and barriers I had placed upon myself.
